Going to Mykonos was a dream of mine ever since I was young. I've been to Greece many times but I've never visited this magical island. These photos can't capture the beauty of this place, white Greek architecture contrasted by the deep blue ocean and the perfect weather made this vacation incredible.
I found that the best way to get around the island is not by motorcycle, but rent a car because this will make it easy to see all sides of the island, with every twist and every turn there's a new picturesque beach with turquoise water and white sand.
My favourite beaches by far are the secluded beaches, Kalafati and Lia beach where I spent my days playing in the sun and swimming in the unbelievably clear water.
The Myconian nightlife is great too, and the tourists there all bring good vibes from their own countries. A great place with great parties is Nammos, located in Psarou beach.
I stayed near Platis Gialos which made it easy to get to the city at night. If you go to Mykonos I'd definitely check out Scorpios restaurant (located in Paraga) and also Niko's Taverna (located in little Venice).
Walking around the Mykonos town, called little Venice is an experience within itself. The town is a stunning maze of whitewashed steps lanes and houses with beautiful boutiques. And at night the town is bustling with people enjoying the delicious Mediterranean food and wine while the light of yachts anchoring in the old port shining on the alleyways.
Mykonos was amazing and I have no doubt I'll be back soon.
